More About Me,

My love for birth started as a child, birth was a common subject in our household. Where babies come from, how they get here, all of it. At the age of 15 I had my first birth experience. I watched my Mom give birth to my sister in our home. And my love for birth has only grown from there.

I always knew I was meant to work in the birth field to some capacity, but I never knew what exactly my role would, or could, be. In January of 2020 I found out I was pregnant, I immediately started planning what I wanted my birth to look like, then the pandemic hit, and we moved half way across the country, and while my desires stayed the same, there was new stress. New things that I didn’t know how to deal with. I stuck to my plan, determined to get the birth experience I wanted with zero preparation. And spoiler alert, I didn’t get what I wanted.

After the defeat of a birth that did not go the way I intended, I knew I had to do better and help others do better. Six months after my son was born I signed up for my Doula training and I haven’t looked back since. That’s what I’m doing here. Supporting, Listening, and offering advice when needed. Teaching my clients their birth rights and how to advocate for themselves.
